THE SUNDAY SERIES RETREAT

Spring | October 2022

Join Health & Wellness Director, Gemma McCaw and special guests, for a Sunday of restoration, rejuvenation and relaxation at some of New Zealand's most stunning locations with a collection of like-minded women. We'd love to keep some of the details of the day up our sleeve but please know you will be well taken care of and nothing at all is compulsory. It is your day! Here's a taste of what lies ahead if you choose to join us:

  • Private coach transfers from a central city meeting point [meeting around 845am for a departure around 9am to get ready for a 10am start to the programme]

  • All day access to a stunning retreat location buried in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of life

  • Sumptuous and nourishing meals including morning tea, a shared lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments during the day

  • Guided nature walks across the properties we've chosen [we'll have different levels available or a stay-at-home option]

  • Yoga and breath work with one of New Zealand's leading instructors

  • Wellness seminars specifically focused on women's wellbeing

  • A chance to meet and connect with other like-minded women

  • Activities and surprises along the way!

  • Our day together will wrap up around 5pm and the coaches will return you back to your central city meeting point by around 6pm latest

Our intention is for you to come away with the tools and confidence to make lasting changes for a healthier, happier life and to leave feeling emotionally balanced and renewed, with wellness practises that you can implement in everyday life. Anything can change in just one day!

BOOKING DETAILS

COST & INCLUSIONS

Tickets cost $350 per guest including the following:

  • Private coach transfers to and from the retreat venue from agreed central city pick-up and drop-off location

  • All day attendance at the retreat venue

  • Full access to The Sunday Series wellness programme for the day

  • Morning tea, a shared lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments during the day

  • Guided nature walks across the property

  • Yoga and breath work with a leading New Zealand instructor

  • Wellness seminars specifically focused on women's wellbeing

* All costs are in New Zealand dollars and inclusive of GST

* Transport to the coach pick-up/drop-off location is at your own expense.

TERMS, CONDITIONS & LIABILITY

  • Attendees must be 25 years or older

  • I understand this event is targeted specifically to a female audience (or those who identify as a woman)

  • Your ticket is proof of purchase for the above event and must be presented at time of admission

  • Your ticket is non-transferable

  • Tickets are non-refundable

  • No outside food or beverages allowed other than anything required for personal medication purposes [we will cater for any dietary requirements]

  • Professional photography, audio or video recording is strictly prohibited

  • We reserve the right to add to, amend or adjust the day's running schedule and provide updates to guests via email

  • All IP [intellectual property] of The Sunday Series programme remains the property of the organisation's owners and is not to be used or replicated in any way beyond your own personal use

  • You alone are responsible for assessing your own suitability for this event, your own personal choices related to the day's activities, and your own health and wellbeing condition. You undertake all activity at your own risk. The Sunday Series is not responsible or liable for any personal injury or outcome as a result of your participation in the programme. You are responsible for undertaking your own professional advice from your doctor or specialist. Please don't do anything that doesn't feel right or causes you pain. In case of doubt listen to your own best judgement.

  • Alcohol, drugs, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited at all times during The Sunday Series event, programme and transportation.

  • The retreat organisers reserve the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that is deemed to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others.

  • All details are correct at the time of publication. The retreat organisers reserve the right to change the programme at any time and such changes will be uploaded on the retreat website.

  • The retreat organisers will not accept any responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by participants in the course of the retreat.

  • Fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for personal travel, accommodation and personal possessions if required. The retreat organisers do not cover individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the retreat or for theft or damage to belongings.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE DAY

DRESSCODE

We want you to feel comfortable and be able to enjoy the day and our physical activities so ladies, you'll be pleased to know we want you to wear your activewear ALL day long! Please wear sturdy footwear suitable for walking on trails [ideally trainers].

TRANSPORT

We want to make the day as easy as possible for you so will arrange private coach transfers to get you all to the retreat locations safely, on time and in comfort. If for some reason you wish to drive yourself please get in touch and we can see what might be possible.

WHAT TO BRING

We suggest you bring a small, easy to carry backpack or bag for your personal possessions. All you will need is something warm and a drink bottle ideally filled with water. We will supply writing materials if you wish to bring notes or feel free to bring along your personal journal or notebook if you'd prefer.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

You can share any dietary requirements with us on your registration form at the time of booking. We will look to serve healthy, nutritious food suitable for all but if you have any queries or concerns please feel free to get in touch.

FAQ

Can I bring a friend or is it just for individuals?

We'd love you to bring a friend or you're equally welcome to come alone! Bring along your Mum, Grandma, Aunt, Sister or Cousin. The more the merrier. Or there will be lots of women to connect with on the day.

What happens on the day? I've never been to any wellbeing sessions and I'm feeling a bit nervous.

Absolutely understandable but we promise there is nothing to be nervous or worried about. You're in excellent hands and there is nothing on the programme you have to do, your participation [or not] is all up to you. Of course we recommend you get fully involved to get the maximum benefit.

Is The Sunday Series only for women?

Yes, this particular programme has been designed for women specifically for women's wellbeing needs.

Do I need to be super fit to participate?

Absolutely not. The programme is designed for all fitness levels and abilities. You will be able to choose exactly what you participate in and at what level. The programme is about relaxation and rejuvenation – being your best self mentally, physically and emotionally.
